RESOLUTION NO. 2026-068 RESOLUTION APPROVING A PERMANENT DRAINAGE AND STORM WATER EASEMENT AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,432.00, WITH UNITED CONCRETE, INC., LOCATED AT 3553 WEST AIRLINE HIGHWAY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO AIR AND RAIL PARK UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT. WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo, Iowa is undertaking the Waterloo Air and Rail Park Utility Improvements Project; and WHEREAS, in connection with the project, the City requires a Permanent Drainage and Storm Water Easement across/within property owned by United Concrete, Inc. located west of 3553 West Airline Highway; and WHEREAS, the city has negotiated a Permanent Drainage and Storm Water Easement Agreement with United Concrete, Inc.; and WHEREAS, this easement is integral to enhancing the City's utility service capabilities and ensuring long-term infrastructure stability. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1. The Permanent Drainage and Storm Water Easement Agreement, between United Concrete, Inc., and the City of Waterloo, for property located west of 3553 West Airline Highway, in conjunction with the Waterloo Air and Rail Park utility improvements, is hereby approved. 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of February 2026.
