RESOLUTION NO. 2026-046
RESOLUTION APPROVING CANCELLATION OF
SIDEWALK ASSESSMENTS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
517 W. 9TH STREET IN THE AMOUNT OF $459.57 AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO NOTIFY BLACK
HAWK COUNTY TREASURER OF SAID CANCELLATION.
WHEREAS, the property located at 517 W. 9th Street in the City of Waterloo has a
sidewalk assessment levied against it for the amount of $459.57; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council that these assessments require
cancellation as payment was received in full at the City Clerk's office prior to the deadline.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The sidewalk assessment in the amount of $459.57 for the property located at 517 W.
9th Street, is hereby canceled.
2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to notify the Black Hawk County Treasurer
of the cancellation of the above assessment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of February 2026.
