RESOLUTION NO. 2026-055
A RESOLUTION APPROVING WAGES FOR YEARS FOUR
AND FIVE OF THE 2023-2028 COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
AGREEMENT WITH THE AFSCME COUNCIL 61, LOCAL
1195, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND HUMAN
RESOURCES DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS , the City of Waterloo, Iowa and AFSCME Council 61, Local 1195 are
parties to a Collective Bargaining Agreement for the term 2023-2028; and
WHEREAS, the Collective Bargaining Agreement provides for wages and/or wage
schedules for Years Four and Five of the Agreement, as negotiated and presented to the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the wage provisions for Years Four and Five
and finds it to be in the best interest of the City to approve the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the wages and/or wage schedules for Years Four
and Five of the 2023-2028 Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Waterloo and
AFSCME Council 61, Local 1195.
2. The Mayor and Human Resource Director are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
