PUBLIC NOTICE
OF STORM WATER DISCHARGE
The City of Waterloo, Iowa, plans to
submit a Notice of Intent to the Iowa
Department of Natural Resources
to be covered under the NPDES
General Permit No. 2 - Storm Water
Discharge Associated with Industrial
Activity for Construction Activities. The
storm water discharge will be from the
construction of sanitary sewer, water
main, storm sewer, and drainage im-
provements, and will be located in the
SW w.4 and SE '.F< of Section 05. T89N,
R13W, and NW 14 of Section OB,
T09N, R13W, and NW 114 of Section
09, T09 N, R13W, Black Hawk County.
Storm water will be discharged from
one point source and will be dis-
charged via the Waterloo Municipal
Storm Sewer System to George Wyth
Lake and then the Cedar River. Com-
ments may be submitted to the Storm
Water Discharge Coordinator, Iowa
Department of Natural Resources,
Environmental Protection Division,
502 East 9th Street, Des Moines, IA
50319-0034. The Public may review
the Notice of Intent from 8;DD am to
4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, at
the above address after it has been
received by the department.
