RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST
OF IOWA DEVELOPMENT ENTERPRISES FOR A SITE
PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "R -1,R -P" PLANNED
MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT ON APPROXIMATELY
THREE ACRES OF LAND, LOCATED NORTH OF THE
INTERSECTION OF BURTON AVENUE AND WEST DONALD
STREET AT THE FORMER VAN EATON SCHOOL SITE,
AS NOVEMBER 18, 2013, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE
OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of November, 2013,
for the purpose of considering the request of Iowa Development
Enterprises for a site plan amendment to the "R -1,R -P" Planned
Multiple Residence District on approximately three acres of land,
located north of the intersection of Burton Avenue and West Donald
Street at the former Van Eaton School site, to allow for the
construction of five single-family homes, and legally described
as follows:
Van Eaton Subdivision, A replat of Lot 2, Block 2 of
West '-� of Cushman Heights, to the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, State of Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
