RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION OF THE EAST 4 FEET OF A PLATTED 16
FOOT WIDE SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF BISMARK AVENUE AND
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE IN GALLOWAY FIRST ADDITION,
AS FEBRUARY 25, 2013, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th day of February, 2013, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate the
east 4 feet of a platted 16 foot wide sanitary sewer easement at
the northeast corner of Bismark Avenue and Ansborough Avenue in
Galloway First Addition, and legally described as follows:
The East four (4) feet of a sixteen (16) foot permanent
easement in even width lying East of and adjacent to
the West thirty-five (35) feet in even width of Lot
Nos. 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23, all in First Addition
to Galloway, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of February, 2013.
