RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received
by the City Clerk of the City of Wa-
terloo. Iowa, at her office in the City
Hall of the said City on the 12 th day
of March, 2026, until 1:0D p.m. for the
Airfield Lighting Control System Up-
grade/ Replacement , as described In
detail in the plans and specifications
now on file In the Office of the City
Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened
in the Harold E. Getty Council Cham-
bers at City Hall, In the City of Water-
loo. Iowa, on the 12 th day of March
2026, at 1:00 p.m., and the proposals
ill be acted upon at such later time
and place as may then be fixed. The
bid opening will be livestreamed on
YouTube and made available on the
city website.
PRE -BID MEETING
A pre -bid meeting for this protect will
be held on March 5. 2026. at 10:00
a.m. in the Airport Conference Room
on the 2 nd Floor at the Waterloo Re-
gional Ai rport.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council
of said City will conduct a public hear-
ing on the proposed plans, specifica-
tions, form of contract, and estimate
of cost for the construction of the
above -described improvement project
at 5:30 p.m. on March 16, 2026, said
hearing to be held in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers In City Hall
in said CVr.
SCOPE WORK
The project for the Improvements at
the Waterloo Regional Airport, Water-
loo, Iowa, consists of:
• Upgrade or replacement of the ex-
isting airfield lighting control system
Computer based control system In
airfield lighting vault and air traffic
control tower
Touch screen control system In air
traffic control tower
Remote monitoring systems In
airport operations in airport termina
building and ARFF station
Published pursuant to the provisions
of Chapter 26 of the City Code of Iowa
and upon order to the City Council of
said Waterloo. Iowa, on the 16 th day
of February 2026.
