RESOLUTION NO. 2026-074
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MARCH 16, 2026, TO APPROVE THE SUBMISSION OF THE
CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
REPORT TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa participates in federal Community Planning and
Development programs administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development ("HUD"); and
WHEREAS, HUD requires the City to prepare and submit a Consolidated Annual
Performance and Evaluation Report ("CAPER") describing accomplishments and expenditures
for applicable HUD -funded programs for the program year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it appropriate to set a public hearing to receive public
comment prior to approval and submission of the CAPER to HUD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. A public hearing be set for March 16, 2026, to receive public comment on a proposal
to approve the submission of the City's Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation
Report (CAPER) to HUD.

2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing as required
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 2026.
