RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MARCH 16, 2026, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY C&S
PROPERTIES TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 0.49 ACRES
FROM "R-4" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "C-2"
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT LOCATED AT 911 SOUTH
STREET AND 519 W. 7TH STREET AND INSTRUCT THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, C&S Properties has submitted an application requesting rezoning of
approximately 0.49 acres from "R-4" Multiple Residence District to "C-2" Commercial District
for property located at 911 South Street and 519 W. 7th Street, Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the Waterloo City Council finds it appropriate to set a public hearing to
receive public comment on the proposed rezoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. A public hearing be set for March 16, 2026, to receive public comments the request
by C&S Properties to rezone approximately 0.49 acres from "R-4" Multiple Residence District to
"C-2" Commercial District for property located at 911 South Street and 519 W. 7th Street,
Waterloo, Iowa.

2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing as required
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 2026.
