RESOLUTION NO. 2026-082
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MATT CONSTRUCTION INC.,
OF SUMNER, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $237,465.11, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2025 SOUTH HILLS GOLF
COURSE MAINTENANCE BUILDING, CONTRACT NO. 1130.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo entered into a contract for the FY 2025 South Hills
Golf Course Maintenance Building, Contract No. 1130; and
WHEREAS, Matt Construction Inc., of Sumner, Iowa has performed the work required
under the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Leisure Services Director has submitted a report indicating the Project
has been completed in accordance with the contract documents, and has recommended
acceptance of the work; and
WHEREAS, the total contract amount for the work performed is $237,465.11.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves completion of the Project and accepts the work
performed by Matt Construction Inc., of Sumner, Iowa, in conjunction with the FY 2025 South
Hills Golf Course Maintenance Building, Contract No. 1130, in the amount of $237,465.11.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 2026.
