RESOLUTION NO. 2026-083
RESOLUTION APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE NORTH CROSSING 3RD AND
4TH ADDITIONS, SUBMITTED BY K. CUNNINGHAM
CONSTRUCTION, LLC, OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA AND FILE
A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo entered into a contract for the North Crossing 3rd and
4th Additions; and
WHEREAS, K. Cunningham Construction, LLC, of Cedar Falls, Iowa has performed the
work required under the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted a report indicating the Project has been
completed in accordance with the contract documents, and has recommended acceptance of the
work; and
WHEREAS, the total contract amount for the work performed is $10,224,095.81.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves completion of the Project and accepts the work
performed by K. Cunningham Construction, LLC, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, in conjunction with the
North Crossing 3rd and 4th Additions, in the amount of $10,224,095.81.
2. The two-year maintenance bond submitted for the Project is hereby received and filed
with the City Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 2026.
