RESOLUTION NO. 2026-087
RESOLUTION APPROVING A MASTER PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MEAD AND HUNT, INC., OF
MADISON, WISCONSIN, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
UPCOMING MASTER PLAN PROJECT AND OTHER
PLANNING PROJECTS AS NEEDED, AT COSTS TO BE
DETERMINED, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo, Iowa anticipates undertaking an upcoming Master
Plan Project and may require additional professional planning and related consulting services
from time to time; and
WHEREAS, Mead & Hunt, Inc., of Madison, Wisconsin provides professional planning
and related services of the type needed by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a Master Professional Services Agreement with
Mead & Hunt, Inc., to establish general terms and conditions under which specific tasks may be
authorized from time to time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Master Professional Services Agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa and
Mead & Hunt, Inc., of Madison, Wisconsin, in conjunction with the Master Plan is hereby
approved.
2. Compensation under the Agreement shall be as subsequently authorized for specific
tasks, with scope of services and fees to be established by task order, work order, amendment, or
similar written authorization, and subject to budget availability and City approval requirements.
3. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
