RESOLUTION NO. 2026-090
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION, EFFECTIVE MARCH 2, 2026, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $135.30 PER MONTH WITH AN ANNUAL 2.5
PERCENT AUTOMATIC INCREASE OVER THE NEXT FIVE
YEARS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo desires to enter into a Professional Services
Agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation for professional services; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Agreement is effective March 2, 2026, at a rate of $135.30 per
month, with an automatic annual increase of 2.5% over the next five years.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposal to be in the best interest of the City and
recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Professional Services Agreement between the City of Waterloo and the Iowa
Department of Transportation, effective March 2, 2026, at a cost of $135.30 per month with an
automatic annual increase of 2.5% over the next five years, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 2026.
