RESOLUTION NO. 2026-096
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TAX REBATE AGREEMENT
WITH IOWA HEARTLAND COMMUNITY INVESTMENT FUND,
LLC FOR UNCLAIMED TAX REBATES ON 301-311 E. 3RD
STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS Iowa Heartland Community Investment Fund, LLC has requested that the
City of Waterloo, Iowa enter into a Tax Rebate Agreement to address unclaimed tax rebates
associated with real property located at 301-311 E. 3rd Street, Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of the City to approve
said Tax Rebate Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Tax Rebate Agreement by and between the City of Waterloo, Iowa and Iowa
Heartland Community Investment Fund, LLC, concerning unclaimed tax rebates for the Property
located at 301-311 E. 3rd Street, Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 2026.
