RESOLUTION NO. 2013-142
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF CEDAR VALLEY
PRIDE FEST COMMITTEE TO HOLD CEDAR VALLEY
PRIDE FEST 2013 EVENT ON AUGUST 24, 2013.
WHEREAS, the Cedar Valley Pride Fest Committee has requested
that they be allowed to hold the Cedar Valley Pride Fest 2013
event on August 24, 2013, together with the approval of the
Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will be held from 12:00 noon to
midnight, with street closure of the 300 block of West 4th Street
from northbound Washington Street to Jefferson Street from
August 24, 2013 at 6:00 a.m. to August 25, 2013 at 4:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Cedar Valley Pride Fest
Committee to hold the Cedar Valley Pride Fest 2013 event on
August 24, 2013 from 12:00 noon to midnight, with street closure
of the 300 block of West 4th Street from northbound Washington
Street to Jefferson Street from August 24, 2013 at 6:00 a.m. to
August 25, 2013 at 4:00 a.m., be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of February, 2013.
