RESOLUTION NO. 2026-140
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE
MARKETING AGREEMENT WITH UTILITY SERVICE
PARTNERS PRIVATE LABEL, INC., D/B/A SERVICE LINE
WARRANTIES OF AMERICA, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo previously entered into a Marketing Agreement with
Utility Service Partners Private Label, Inc., d/b/a Service Line Warranties of America to provide
for marketing and related services associated with service line warranty offerings made available
to City residents; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Company desire to enter into Amendment No. 1 to the Marketing
Agreement to modify certain terms and conditions of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, City staff recommends approval of Amendment No. 1 to the Marketing Agreement
with the Company; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to approve said Amendment No. 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The City Council hereby approves Amendment No. 1 to the Marketing Agreement
with Utility Service Partners Private Label, Inc., d/b/a Service Line Warranties of America.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
