RESOLUTION NO. 2026-147
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPENSATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $20,233.00 TO PEBBLE HILL, LLC, FOR THE
REMOVAL OF 92.8 SQUARE -YARDS OF CONCRETE
PAVING AND 115.4 SQUARE YARDS OF ASPHALT
PAVING, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 714 LA PORTE
ROAD, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LA PORTE ROAD
PHASE II RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa is undertaking the La Porte Road Phase II
Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the Project, it is necessary to remove certain existing
paving improvements located on private property at 714 La Porte Road; and
WHEREAS, Pebble Hill, LLC is the owner of the Property; and
WHEREAS, the removal includes approximately 92.8 square yards of concrete paving
and 115.4 square yards of asphalt paving; and
WHEREAS, City staff has determined that it is appropriate to compensate the Owner for
such removal in the amount of $20,233.00, in connection with the Project; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the city to approve said compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The City Council hereby approves compensation to Pebble Hill, LLC, in the amount
of $20,233.00, for the removal of 92.8 square yards of concrete paving and 115.4 square yards of
asphalt paving located at 714 La Porte Road, in conjunction with the La Porte Road Phase II
Reconstruction Project.
