RESOLUTION NO. 2026-129
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE RUNWAY 18/36 REHABILITATION WITHIN THE
RUNWAY 12/30 SAFETY AREA, FAA AIP PROJECT NO. 3-
19-0094-059.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo has developed and finalized the plans, specifications,
and form of contract for the Runway 18/36 Rehabilitation Within the Runway 12/30 Safety Area,
FAA AIP Project No. 3-19-0094-059; and
WHEREAS, these plans and specifications have been prepared in accordance with city
standards and guidelines ensuring they meet the necessary requirements for successful project
implementation; and
WHEREAS, the authorization to proceed is now required to enable the commencement
of the work in accordance with the adopted plans and project timeline.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The plans, specifications, form of contract, and associated documents for Runway
18/36 Rehabilitation Within the Runway 12/30 Safety Area, FAA AIP Project No. 3-19-0094-
059, are hereby confirmed as approved.
2. The city is authorized to proceed with execution of the project and adherence to all
specified requirements.
