RESOLUTION NO. 2026-136
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ASSIGNMENT OF REBATES
AND WAIVER/RELEASE TO CPM ACQUISITION CORP.
FROM ZYDECO INVESTMENTS, LLC, FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 4050 LEVERSEE ROAD, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo, has previously authorized certain rebates and/or
incentives associated with the property located at 4050 Leversee Road, Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, Zydeco Investments, LLC is a party to the rebate/incentive arrangement(s)
and now desires to assign its rights, if any, in such rebates to CPM Acquisition Corp.; and
WHEREAS, the City has been presented with an Assignment of Rebates and
Waiver/Release from Zydeco Investments, LLC to CPM Acquisition Corp. relating to the
Property, which also includes a waiver and release of claims; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of the city to approve the
Assignment and authorize execution of the document on behalf of the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Assignment of Rebates and Waiver/Release to CPM Acquisition Corp. from
Zydeco Investments, LLC, for the Property located at 4050 Leversee Road, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
