RESOLUTION NO. 2026-139
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $137,300.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE 5TH STREET AND
COMMERCIAL STREET PARKING RAMP REPAIRS AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo owns and operates public parking facilities, including
the 5th Street and Commercial Street Parking Ramp; and
WHEREAS, the city has identified the need for repairs and related professional services
in conjunction with the 5th Street and Commercial Street Parking Ramp Repairs; and
WHEREAS, AECOM Technical Services, of Waterloo, Iowa, is qualified and
experienced to provide professional services for the Project; and
WHEREAS, City staff recommends approval of a Professional Service Agreement with
AECOM in an amount not to $137,300.00, for services associated with the Project; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the city to enter into said Professional Service
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The City Council hereby approves a Professional Service Agreement with AECOM
Technical Services, Waterloo, Iowa, for professional services in conjunction with the 5th Street
and Commercial Street Parking Ramp Repairs, in an amount not to exceed $137,300.00.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
