RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by
the City Clerk of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa. at her office In the City Hall of
the sald City on the 26th day of March,
2026 until 1 :00 p.m. for the construc-
tion of the F.Y. 202E B00 BLK UPTON
AVENUE SANITARY AND WATER
MAIN EXTENSIONS, Contract No.
1147 , as described In detail in the
plans and specifications now on file in
the Office of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
Ail proposals received will be opened
in the Harold E. Getty Council Cham-
bers In City Hall, In the City of Water-
loo, Iowa, on the 26th day of March
2026 at 1:00 p.m., and the proposals
+hill be acted upon at such later time
and place as may then be fixed by the
City Council. The bid opening will be
livestreamed on YouTube and made
available on the city website.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice Is hereby given that the Council
of sald City will conduct a public hear-
ing on the proposed plans, specifica-
tions, form of contract, and estimate
of cost for the construction of the
above -described improvement project
at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of Apr11,
2026, said hearing to be held In the
Harold E. Getty Council Chambers in
City Hall in said City. The proposed
plans, specifications, form of con-
tract, and estimate of cost for sold
improvements heretofore prepared
by the City of Waterloo are now on
file in the office of the City Clerk for
public examination, and any person
nterested therein may file written
objection thereto with the City Clerk
before the date set for said hearing.

SCOPE OF WORK
The extent of the work Involved is the
extension of sanitary sewer, water
main, and replacement of a portion of

said Waterloo. Iowa, on the 2nd day of
