RESOLUTION NO. 2016-612
RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 18, 2016,
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 22, 2016,
FOR THE F.Y. 2017 BRIDGE REPAIRS - 6TH STREET, 18TH
STREET, AND ANSBOROUGH AVENUE, CONTRACT NO.
916; AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd day of August
2016, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, estimate of cost etc., in conjunction with the F.Y. 2017 Bridge Repairs - 6th Street, 18th
Street, and Ansborough Avenue, Contract No. 916, with the taking of bids at 1:00 p.m. on
August 18, 2016.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of August, 2016.
