Company; Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Ry. Company and the Waterloo, Cedar Falls & Northern Ry. Company for the respective amounts certified by the city engineer's office. L. Daggett request- ing cancellation of his Class "B" Beer Permit No. 918, was received, placed on file and request granted. 14846 - Moved by Burtner, seconded by Strang that the application of Robert H. Dietz, d/b/a Stable, 1366 Sycamore Street for a Class "B" Beer Permit be denied, and that Resolution No. 8675-A, approving all other applications as read by the clerk, be adopted. The City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in said City at 8 o'clock P. Y., February 10th, 1941. Mayor Ralph B. M., January 27th, 1941, were received, placed on file and approved. 14851 - The City Clerk submitted proof of publication of the Notice to Bond Buyers in connection with Paving Contract No. 34, and on motion by Dolan, seconded by Burt- said proof of publication was received and placed on file. Mayor Ralph B. Slippy announced that the time having arrived for considering the bids for resurfacing done under Paving Contract No. 34 that the city council would proceed with the sale of said bonds. Mennenga, 420 West 7th Street, to pay the city $265.00 for Lot 3, Block 2, Greenfield. Addition, was received, placed on file and referred to the Finance Committee. 14856 - 0n motion by Joder, seconded by Strang the petition of Edwin B. W.
