RESOLUTION NO. 2013-88
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MY WATERLOO
DAYS COMMITTEE TO HOLD MY WATERLOO DAYS EVENT
FROM MAY 30 -JUNE 2, 2013.
WHEREAS, the My Waterloo Days Committee has requested that
they be allowed to hold the My Waterloo Days event from May 30 -
June 2, 2013, together with the approval of the Director of
Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said activities will be held in several locations
throughout the city, to include the People in the Park, parade,
5K run/walk, kids carnival, Expo Center events, hot air balloons,
dragon boat races and Waterhawks Ski Show, with street closures
and barricade needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the My Waterloo Days
Committee to hold the My Waterloo Days event from May 30 -
June 2, 2013 in several locations throughout the city, to include
the People in the Park, parade, 5K run/walk, kids carnival, Expo
Center events, hot air balloons, dragon boat races and Waterhawks
Ski Show, with street closures and barricade needs, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of February, 2013.
