RESOLUTION NO. 2026-176
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
WATERLOO WATER WORKS FOR WATER MAIN
REPLACEMENTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH FY 2026 UPTON
AVENUE SANITARY AND WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS,
CONTRACT NO. 1147, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is undertaking the FY 2026 Upton Avenue
Sanitary and Water Main Extensions, Contract No. 1147; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to enter into an agreement with Waterloo Water
Works for water main replacements in conjunction with said project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to approve said
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and Waterloo Water Works for
water main replacements in conjunction with the FY 2026 Upton Avenue Sanitary and Water
Main Extensions, Contract No. 1147, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April 2026.
