RESOLUTION NO. 2026-178
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSTRUCTION PLANS FOR
PRIVATE SANITARY SEWER SERVING THE HAWKEYE
COMMUNITY COLLEGE SUSTAINABILITY CENTER, AS
SUBMITTED BY ROBINSON ENGINEERING CO., SEWAGE
TREATMENT AGREEMENT, DNR FORM 29 (NOV 00) WITH
THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, AND
FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF CONSTRUCTION PLANS
SUBJECT TO THE REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, construction plans have been submitted by Robinson Engineering Co. for a
private sanitary sewer serving the Hawkeye Community College Sustainability Center; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to approve a Sewage Treatment Agreement and
DNR Form 29 (Nov 00) with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, final acceptance of said construction plans should be subject to review and
acceptance by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to approve said
plans and related documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The construction plans for a private sanitary sewer serving the Hawkeye Community
College Sustainability Center, as submitted by Robinson Engineering Co., are hereby approved.
2. The Sewage Treatment Agreement and DNR Form 29 (Nov 00) with the Iowa
Department of Natural Resources is hereby approved.
3. Final acceptance of the construction plans is hereby granted, subject to the review and
acceptance by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
4. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
