RESOLUTION NO. 2026-179
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $680,000.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE US HIGHWAY 63 LIFT STATION, FORCE MAIN, AND
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE II PROJECT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is undertaking the U.S. Highway 63 Lift
Station, Force Main, and Sanitary Sewer Improvements, Phase II Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to enter into a Professional Services Agreement
with AECOM of Waterloo, Iowa, for services related to said project; and
WHEREAS, the cost of said services shall be in the amount of $680,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to approve said
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. Professional Services Agreement with AECOM of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of
$680,000.00, in conjunction with the U.S. Highway 63 Lift Station, Force Main, and Sanitary
Sewer Improvements, Phase II Project, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
