RESOLUTION NO. 2026-187 RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A TEMPORARY ACCESS EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH MCDONALD'S USA, LLC, LOCATED AT AND ADJACENT TO 2222 LOGAN AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is undertaking the Katoski Drive/Huntington Road Reconstruction Project; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with said Project, it is necessary for the City to acquire a Temporary Easement over property located at 1432 Ingersoll Road, Waterloo, Iowa; and WHEREAS, said property is owned by Elizabeth A. Curran; and WHEREAS, the City and Elizabeth A. Curran have negotiated a Temporary Easement Agreement in the amount of $246.00; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to approve said Temporary Easement Agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1. The Temporary Easement Agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and Elizabeth A. Curran, for property located at 1432 Ingersoll Road, in conjunction with the Katoski Drive/Huntington Road Reconstruction Project, in the amount of $246.00, is hereby approved. 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April 2026.
