RESOLUTION NO. 2026-154 RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 20, 2026, TO APPROVE A REZONE REQUEST BY THE CITY OF WATERLOO TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY TWENTY-EIGHT ACRES OF LAND FROM "A-1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT TO "B-P" BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT, LOCATED WEST AND NORTHWEST OF 4634 KIMBALL AVENUE, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has requested the rezoning of approximately twenty- eight acres of land from "A-1" Agricultural District to `B-P" Business Park District, said property being located west and northwest of 4634 Kimball Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it appropriate to set a public hearing on said proposal and direct the City Clerk to publish notice as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that: 1. A public hearing be set for April 20, 2026, to receive public comments on the proposal to approve the request by the City of Waterloo to rezone approximately twenty-eight acres of land from "A-1" Agricultural District to `B-P" Business Park District, located west and northwest of 4634 Kimball Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa. by law. 2.
