RESOLUTION NO. 2026-160
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AWARD OF
HOTEL/MOTEL TAX COUNCIL DISCRETIONARY FUNDS,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.00, TO THE NORTH END ARTS
AND MUSIC FEST.
WHEREAS, hotel/motel tax council discretionary funds are available for allocation to
eligible events and activities that promote tourism, cultural opportunities, and community
engagement; and
WHEREAS, the North End Arts and Music Fest has requested funding assistance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to award
hotel/motel tax council discretionary funds in the amount of $5,000.00 to the North End Arts and
Music Fest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The award of hotel/motel tax council discretionary funds, in the amount of $5,000.00,
to the North End Arts and Music Fest is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April 2026.
