RESOLUTION NO. 2026-171
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED.
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026 800 BLOCK UPTON
AVENUE SANITARY AND WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS,
CONTRACT NO. 1147.
WHEREAS, specifications, bid documents, form of contract, and related documents have
been prepared for the FY 2026 800 Block Upton Avenue Sanitary and Water Main Extensions,
Contract No. 1147; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary and desirable to confirm approval of said
documents and authorize proceeding with the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The specifications, bid documents, form of contract, and related documents for the FY
2026 800 Block Upton Avenue Sanitary and Water Main Extensions, Contract No. 1147 are
hereby confirmed and approved.
2. City staff are authorized and directed to proceed with the bidding and related
procurement process for said project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April 2026.
