RESOLUTION NO. 2013-10
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF WATERLOO
WATER WORKS FOR A TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF DEWITT
ROAD IMMEDIATELY NORTH AND SOUTH OF US
HIGHWAY 20, AND A TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE
EXISTING RECREATIONAL TRAIL IN THE VICINITY
OF DEWITT ROAD, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE
DEWITT ROAD WATER MAIN EXTENSION.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Water Works has requested a temporary
closure of DeWitt Road immediately north and south of US Highway
20, and a temporary closure of the existing recreational trail in
the vicinity of DeWitt Road, for construction of the DeWitt Road
water main extension.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Waterloo Water Works for
a temporary closure of DeWitt Road immediately north and south of
US Highway 20, and a temporary closure of the existing
recreational trail in the vicinity of DeWitt Road, for
construction of the DeWitt Road water main extension, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of January, 2013.
