TERMINATION AGREEMENT FOR THE TRANSFORMING GATES AND BYRNES
PARKS DESIGNATED FUND AGREEMENT
THIS Termination Agreement ("Agreement") is dated as of April 20
2026 by and between City of Waterloo ("Donor") and the Waterloo Community Foundation
("Foundation").
WHEREAS, on March 1, 2022, the Donor and Foundation executed the Transforming
Gates and Byrnes Parks Designated Fund Agreement ("Fund");
WHEREAS, the Fund does not currently hold any assets and has a zero balance; and
WHEREAS, the Organization and Foundation mutually agree to terminate the Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and representations
contained in this Agreement and intending to be legally bound thereby, the parties agree as follows:
1. The Fund shall be terminated effective immediately.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be duly
executed this on the day and year first above written.
