RESOLUTION NO. 2026-219
RESOLUTION APPROVING A WATERLOO LEISURE
SERVICES DESIGNATED FUNDS AGREEMENT WITH THE
WATERLOO COMMUNITY FOUNDATION TO ESTABLISH
AND MAINTAIN A CHARITABLE FUND FOR THE
FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT THE CITY OF WATERLOO
LEISURE SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo desires to enter into a Waterloo Leisure Services
Designated Funds Agreement with the Waterloo Community Foundation for the purpose of
establishing and maintaining a charitable fund to support City of Waterloo Leisure Services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it is in the best interest of the City to approve said
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Waterloo Leisure Services Designated Funds Agreement between the City of
Waterloo and the Waterloo Community Foundation, for the purpose of establishing and
maintaining a charitable fund to support City of Waterloo Leisure Services, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
