RESOLUTION NO. 2026-220
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH
PARKING-INC./KECK PARKING, OF DES MOINES, IOWA,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,740.00, FOR YEARS 1-3, AND
$11,277.00 FOR YEARS 4-6, BEGINNING JULY 1, 2026, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE REPAIRS, PARTS AND
SERVICES REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THE AIRPORT
PARKING LOT EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has received a proposed Service Contract with
Parking-Inc./Keck Parking, of Des Moines, Iowa, for the repairs, parts, and services required to
maintain the Airport parking lot equipment, and
WHEREAS, the proposed contract provides compensation in the amount of $10,740.00
for Years 1 through 3 and $11,277.00 for Years 4 through 6, beginning July 1, 2026, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it is in the best interest of the City to approve said
Service Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Service Contract with Parking-Inc./Keck Parking, of Des Moines, Iowa, for the
repairs, parts, and services required to maintain the Airport parking lot equipment, in the amount
of Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Forty and 00/100 Dollars ($10,740.00) for Years 1 through 3
and Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Seventy -Seven and 00/100 Dollars ($11,277.00) for Years 4
through 6, beginning July 1, 2026, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
