RESOLUTION NO. 2026-221
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION -RELATED
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL
SERVICES, INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $195,100.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
REHABILITATION OF RUNWAY 18/36 INSIDE OF RUNWAY
12/30 SAFETY AREA, FAA AIP PROJECT NUMBER 3-19-
0094-059-2026, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has been presented with a proposed Construction -
Related Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, in the
amount of $195,100.00, and
WHEREAS, said Agreement is in conjunction with the Rehabilitation of Runway 18/36
Inside of Runway 12/30 Safety Area, identified as FAA AIP Project No. 3-19-0094-059-2026,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it is in the best interest of the City to approve said
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Construction -Related Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services,
Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount $195,100.00, in connection with the Rehabilitation of
Runway 18/36 Inside of Runway 12/30 Safety Area, FAA AIP Project No. 3-19-0094-059-2026,
is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April 2026.
