RESOLUTION NO. 2026-225
RESOLUTION APPROVING TERMINATING THE
TRANSFORMING GATES AND BYRNES PARKS
DESIGNATED FUNDS AGREEMENT WITH THE
WATERLOO COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo and the Waterloo Community Foundation are parties to
the Transforming Gates and Byrnes Parks Designated Funds Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to terminate said Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it is in the best interest of the City to approve
termination of said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The termination of the Transforming Gates and Byrnes Parks Designated Funds
Agreement with the Waterloo Community Foundation is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April 2026.
