A RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MAY 4, 2026, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY THE CITY OF
WATERLOO ON BEHALF OF THE IOWA NATIONAL
GUARD FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO CONSTRUCT
A 25,000 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING IN THE "M-2,P"
PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT LOCATED NORTH OF
3106 AIRPORT BLVD, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, on behalf of the Iowa National Guard, has requested
approval of a Site Plan Amendment to allow construction of a 25,000 square foot building in the
"M-2,P" Planned Industrial District located north of 3106 Airport Boulevard, Waterloo, Iowa,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it appropriate to set a public hearing to consider said
request and to direct publication of notice as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The public hearing is hereby set for May 4, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, to consider a request by the City of Waterloo on behalf of
the Iowa National Guard for a Site Plan Amendment to construct a 25,000 square -foot building
in the "M-2,P" Planned Industrial District located north of 3106 Airport Boulevard.

2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing as required
