RESOLUTION NO. 2026-198
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FYE 2027 BUDGET
INCLUDING TOTAL PROPERTY TAX ASKINGS OF
$54,841,779 AND A LEVY RATE OF $21.79160 FOR THE
BUDGET YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2027.
WHEREAS the proposed budget for the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 2027, has been prepared and filed in accordance with law, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed budget, including total property
tax askings of $54,841,779 and a levy rate of $21.79160, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to approve the
budget for the budget year ending June 30, 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The FYE 2027 budget for the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby approved.
2. The budget includes total property tax askings of $54,841,779 and a levy rate of
$21.79160 for the budget year ending June 30, 2027.
