RESOLUTION NO. 2026-199
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2026 AND 2027
RESIDENTIAL LOTS/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS MOWING
AND LOT MAINTENANCE SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
CITY -OWNED LOTS GENERALLY MAINTAINED BY THE
PLANNING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, bid documents, and the form of contract have been
prepared for the 2026 and 2027 Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot
Maintenance Services Contract for city -owned lots generally maintained by the Planning and
Zoning Department, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary and in the best interest of the City to
confirm approval of said plans, specifications, bid documents, and form of contract, and to
authorize proceeding with said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The plans, specifications, bid documents, and form of contract for the 2026 and 2027
Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract for city -
owned lots generally maintained by the Planning and Zoning Department are hereby confirmed
and approved.
2. City staff are authorized and directed to proceed with the bidding and related
procurement process for said project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April 2026.
