RESOLUTION NO. 2026-202
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH PROTEX CENTRAL IN THE AMOUNT
OF $5,400.00 FOR A THREE-YEAR CONTRACT FOR THE
SEMI-ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND TESTING OF THE
DATA ROOM FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has been presented with a Professional Services
Agreement with Protex Central in the amount of $5,400.00 for a three-year contract for the semi-
annual maintenance and testing of the data room fire suppression system, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to approve said
Agreement and authorize execution of the document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Services Agreement with Protex Central, in the amount of $5,400.00,
for a three-year contract for the semi-annual maintenance and testing of the data room fire
suppression system, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document.
