RESOLUTION NO. 2026-205
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A RIGHT -OF -ENTRY
AGREEMENT WITH THE ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS TO
ALLOW INSTALLATION OF MONITORING WELLS IN THE
CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG MIDPORT BOULEVARD
AND BIG ROCK ROAD AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has been presented with a Right -of -Entry
Agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers to allow installation of monitoring wells in the
City right-of-way along Midport Boulevard and Big Rock Road, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to approve said
Agreement and authorize execution of the document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Right -of -Entry Agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers to allow installation
of monitoring wells in the City right-of-way along Midport Boulevard and Big Rock Road is
hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April 2026.
