RESOLUTION NO. 2013-52
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROMISSORY NOTE FOR THE
HQAA/JSA PROJECT WITH IOWA ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (IEDA) AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID NOTE BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Promissory Note dated January 28, 2013, for a repayment
schedule in the amount of $100,160.10, with 6 percent interest,
in 5 monthly payments of $20,227.40, for not meeting all of the
terms of the original agreement with the State of Iowa, by and
between the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) and the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and
the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of January, 2013.
