RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF GRANT
APPLICATION WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, CRIME VICTIM
ASSISTANCE DIVISION FOR DOMESTICE ABUSE
RESPONSE TEAM (DART) PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the submission of application dated January 7, 2013 for a
grant in the amount of $36,940.00, with city match of $12,313.00,
for funding the Police Department Domestic Abuse Response Team
(DART) Program, providing salary and benefits for one full-time
DART investigator, for the period July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014,
by and between the Iowa Department of Justice Attorney General's
Office, Crime Victim Assistance Division and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of January, 2013.
