RESOLUTION NO. 2016-572
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH
CHICAGO, CENTRAL AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY,
FOR INTERCONNECT FOR CONNECTING THE RAILROAD
CONTROLLER WITH THE AUTOMATIC CROSSING
SIGNALS TO THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROLLER FOR
RAILROAD PREEMPTION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS, AT A
COST OF $74,069, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the agreement dated July 18, 2016, between Chicago, Central and Pacific Railroad Company
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for interconnect for connecting the railroad controller with the
automatic crossing signals to the traffic signal controller for Railroad Preemption of traffic
signals, at a cost of$74,069, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 2016.
