NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on the 20th
day of April, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, a public
hearing will be held by the Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa; to approve
a request by BFA, Inc., on behalf of
Wal-Mart to vacate 26,821 square feet
of twenty -foot water line easement lo-
cated at 1334 Flammang Drive, legal-
ly described as follows:
All that portion of an existing 20 foot
wide watermain easement, being part
of Lot 1 of "Crossroads Plat No, 3 as
shown and dedicated on said plat In
Plat Book W, Page 85 of the Black
Hawk County, Iowa records, said por-
tion of easement to be vacated more
flly described, to wit:
Commencing at the northeast cor-
ner of said Lot 1, also being on the
south right-of-way of Flammang Drive;
thence on the north line of said Lot 1
and the south right-of-way of Flam-
mang Drive 5 89' 25' 53" W 80.33 feet
to the Point of Beginning: thence leav-
ing said lot line and right-of-way line S
