RESOLUTION NO. 2026-238
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY K & W ELECTRIC, INC., OF
CEDAR FALLS, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF $204,587.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE TERMINAL SECURITY
UPGRADES -ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM PROJECT, CSVI
PROJECT NO. 9I240AL0200 / 9I250AL0200.
WHEREAS, K & W Electric, Inc., Cedar Falls, Iowa, has performed work in
conjunction with the Terminal Security Upgrades -Access Control System Project, CSVI Project
No. 9I240AL0200 / 9I250AL0200, and
WHEREAS, said work has been completed in accordance with the plans, specifications,
and contract documents, at a total cost of $204,587.00, and
WHEREAS, the completed project has been reviewed and is recommended for
acceptance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The City Council hereby approves the completion of the Terminal Security Upgrades -
Access Control System Project, CSVI Project No. 9I240AL0200 / 9I250AL0200, performed by
K & W Electric, Inc., Cedar Falls, Iowa, in the amount of $204,587.00.
2. The City Council hereby approves the recommendation of acceptance of said work as
completed in accordance with the contract documents.
