RESOLUTION NO. 2013-465
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO NETWORKS INC. OF WINDSOR
HEIGHTS, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
PURCHASE OF EDGE NETWORK SWITCHES FOR THE
CITY PHONE SYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $52,135.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with NetWorks Inc. of Windsor Heights,
Iowa, in the amount of $52,135.00, in conjunction with the
Purchase of Edge Network Switches for the City Phone System
Replacement Project, described in the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2013-439 after public hearing on May 28, 2013 on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby awarded, the
same being the apparent lowest bid for said project.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the said improvements, said
contract not to be binding on the City until approved by this
Council.
