RESOLUTION NO. 2016-576
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF FRIENDSHIP
VILLAGE TO HOLD A 5K EVENT ON AUGUST 27, 2016 FROM
8:30 A.M. TO 10:30 A.M.
WHEREAS, Friendship Village has requested that they be allowed to hold a 5K event on
August 27, 2016, starting at 8:30 a.m. traveling on the Friendship Village campus, sidewalks and
side streets, together with the approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the route to start and end at
Friendship Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Friendship Village to hold a 5K event on August 27,
2016 beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the Friendship Village campus, sidewalks and side streets, be and
the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of July, 2016.
