RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS AUGUST 11, 2016,
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS AUGUST 15, 2016,
FOR THE F.Y. 2017 SIDEWALK REPAIR ASSESSMENT
PROGRAM - ZONE 6, CONTRACT NO. 909; AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of August 2016,
for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed plans, specifications, form of contract,
estimate of cost etc., in conjunction with the F.Y. 2017 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program—
Zone 6, Contract No. 909, with the taking of bids at 1:00 p.m. on August 11, 2016.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
